Baumit Baustoffe GmbH, A-4820 Bad Ischl
Baumit is a market leader in the field of cleaning and lime products in Austria and holds third place in Europe. An annular kiln for calcinating lime is operated at the Bad Ischl site. The goal was to retrofit it to use pet coke and/or pulverised lignite.
To this end, Carbotechnik supplied and installed a complete system with 120 sqm silo, dosing system and conveying air pipe up to the connecting point to the 8 combustion chambers of the annular kiln. This system provides a control range of 1:8 for each delivery pipe, at a constant dosing accuracy.
