For a customer in the USA, Carbotechnik together with fct combustion inc. delivered a 40 MW natural gas burner and put it into operation. Hot gas with up to 1650 ° C is used for direct drying. Due to the special design of the Carbotechnik burner as an air-cooled steel construction without brick lining, the customer's requirements could be met and fast reaction times for adjusting the firing heat output could be realized. Thanks to the compact design with integrated air staging, emissions can be influenced and the low limits safely adhered to.
