Dyckerhoff AG, Wiesbaden
Dyckerhoff is an international manufacturer of cement and ready-mix concrete and has been part of the Italian Buzzi Unicem Group since 2004. The company operates 7 cement plants, over 135 ready-mix concrete plants and 3 gravel plants in Germany.
Portland cement is produced from limestone at the Amöneburg site. They are the only manufacturer of white cement clinker in Germany.
The firing system for a slag sand dryer was converted from natural gas to pulverised lignite. A hot gas generator, a silo system (120 m³) and a dosing system (max. delivery rate of 945 kg/h) including the required metal construction work were provided for this project.
